Billing & data
A hold is not a charge.
Most orders start as a hold on your wallet and become a charge only once the thing you paid for has actually been delivered. Here is exactly when that happens for each product.
01 — When you are charged
Product by product
| Product | On order | Charged | If it is not delivered |
|---|---|---|---|
| ProductOne-time numbers | On orderPrice held | ChargedWhen a code arrives | If it is not deliveredOrder expires after its window (up to 15 min); hold released |
| ProductRentals | On orderPrice held | ChargedWhen the number is provisioned | If it is not deliveredSupplier failure releases the hold; nothing is charged |
| ProductProxy traffic | On orderPrice held | ChargedWhen the traffic is on your line | If it is not deliveredSupplier failure releases the hold; nothing is charged |

02 — Your balance
Deposits in, spending out
- Deposits are made in crypto and credited to a USD balance once the network confirms.
- Nothing expires a balance.
- A balance is spent here; refunds and released holds return to it rather than being paid out as crypto.
- The dashboard shows your total balance, what is held against open orders, and what is available.
03 — Message data
What we keep, and for how long
Message text, codes and the full numbers involved are kept only as long as you need them to finish an order, then removed on a fixed schedule. What remains is the minimum needed for your order history and accounting: counts, outcomes and a masked number.
